I am 8, and the doctor said I am coeliac. My mum bought bread and pasta that is gluten free, but I hate it. I ate a biscuit this morning when mym did not know and now I am sick. How do other kids get used to this food? I cant have a birthday party yet as my mum is worried I will eat things I am not meant to.
I understand I too don't like gluten-free bread. I think that gluten free pasta is alright if there is a nice sauce on it! Gluten-free biscuits taste the same as normal ones, so give them a try and they will not make you feel ill. I found it hard at first but you will get used to it. My mum is good at making gluten free food for all the family so I don't feel left out. You have to try different things, I like cooking my own gluten free fairy cakes, they taste better when you bake them yourself! Good luck and keep trying new things.
